The pressurized barrel shaped cabin was 25.1968 inches (640mm) in diameter and the
length was 31.496 inches (800mm).  The cabin had a removable cover with a viewing
hatch.  Cabin pressure was maintained at 765mm (note- normal atmospheric pressure on
earth is 760mm or 14.7 pounds per square inch).  A bellows-actuated pressure switch
switched off the oxygen (O2) generator if pressure exceeded 765mm.  The life-support
system was designed for 7 days of flight.
